The maiden Vijayadashami Celebration at Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir Girinagar was conducted in a simple & modest manner. 4 students came to school for the ‘Vidyarambam’ ceremony along with their parents.

The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Principal, Vice Principal, Staff members, parents and students. The presence of Director Sri E Ramankutty lent lustre to the ‘Vidyarambam’ ceremony during which all the 4 students paid obeisance to ‘Ma Saraswathi ‘ the Goddess of Knowledge & fine arts and re- affirmed their quest for education by writing the alphabets on a platter filled with rice grains. They then sought the blessings of their Gurus after which Prasadam was served to all.
