Kakkarissi Nadakam – a folk art form which was very popular in Kerala during the eighteenth century was staged at Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Girinagar on 29th September 2023. It was jointly organized by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra and Infosys Foundation as the 16th Cultural Outreach Programme.  Staged by Pranavam Theaters, Kottarakara, the folk drama was a novel experience for the audience.
