The school conducts various indoor and outdoor sports and encourages every student to participate in games and sports. Vacation classes and after - school coaching classes are conducted for students in archery, judo athletics, roller-skating, swimming, cricket, fencing karate and chess. These classes contribute a great deal to ensuring our success in various competitions at the state and national levels.

Our school was chosen by the CBSE to be venue for the conduct of the south zone CBSE judo championship & the south zone CBSE taekwondo championship. We are also active participants in the CBSE atheletic meet, CBSE football, basket ball, shuttle, table tennis, rollerskating and sub junior national fencing championship, sub junior national archery championship conducted by the national federations and associations. We are also active participants in the mini games conducted by the Sports Authority of India (SAI) at the district, state & national level.

Sports & Games

2021-22

Adhvika Asghar bagged the first place in the state swimming trials in 50,100 and 200 metre backstrokes. She was selected to All India aquatic championship held at Bangalore and secured the 4th position.

Sanaa Mathew of std XI represented Kerala in the 47th Senior National aquatic Championship 2021 conducted at Bangalore.

S Sunderrajan secured second position in shot-put held at Kozhikode and first position in shotput, in District Amateur meet held at Maharaja’s College Stadium.

Abhishek Sanjay secured First in Discus throw and second in shot-put.

Anncia Jude secured Second position in Discus-throw and Advaith Krishna secured Second position in Javelin-throw in the District Amateur meet held at Maharaja’s College Stadium.

Praseen T Biju represented Ernakulam District in State kho-kho Championship held at Malappuram and was selected for the State camp held at Malappuram.

Abhimanyu Jyotish secured bronze medal in karate State Championship and First position in District Karate championship.

Ramakrishna bagged the First position in Roller-skating 200 and 400 metres State Championship and participated in the National Roller-skating Championship.

Parvathy R Nair secured third position in 100m All Kerala Skating Championship. Arjun A Menon secured Third position in open Chess tournament and fifth position in Ultimate Chess challenge organized by SFA play

Diya Samson of XII C has secured gold medal in the Ernakulam District Olympic Rifle Shooting Championship and has qualified for the state level.

Neharika Varma was a part of the Ernakulam District Basketball Team held at Kottayam and secured second position. Soccer

In 1998-99 our School Football team secured the 3rd place in the All Kerala CBSE Football Tournament.

Our school Football Team secured the first place in the Bhavans Aadarsha Vidyalaya Inter school tournament in the academic years 1998-1999 and 1999-2000.

Our student Master Akhil K Joseph represented Indian Mini Football team in the year 2007-’08. He played in Dhaka for India in AFC cup and he also received an award and gold medal. He was selected as the best Sub Junior Football player from Kerala in the year 2007-08.

Basketball

Our school Basketball Team (boys) secured the first place in the All Kerala CBSE Basketball tournament in the academic years 2000-2001 and 2001-2002 (2 consecutive years).

Our school Basketball Team (boys) participated in the CBSE National Basketball tournament in2000-2001 at New Delhi, and 2001-2002 at Indore.

Badminton

Sangeet S. is the winner of Ernakulam District Badminton Championship 2015 – Under 11 Doubles.

Anjali Pradeep of std.IX D was placed second in the Girls’ Doubles Event in Under 15 age category of the 5th BPI All Kerala Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament 2015 held at Khel Badminton Academy,Kakkanad.

Swimming

In the 14thErnakulam District Junior and Sub-Junior Aquatic Championship 2015 held at Viswajyoti CMI Public School , Angamaly in April,

Abhishek Sanjay of std.VI A won the 1st place in 100 m Freestyle, 50 m Freestyle and 50 m Butterfly stroke and3rd place in 4x50 m Medley Relay Grade III

Vishnu Mohan Bhat of std.VI A won the 2nd place in 200 m Freestyle, Backstroke and 3rd place in 4x50 m Freestyle Relay and 4x50 m Medley Relay in category III Boys.

In the 32nd Sub Junior and 42nd Junior Kerala State Aquatic Championship – 2015 held at Aquatic Complex, Thrissur on 15, 16, 17 May 2015,in Grade III, Abhishek Sanjay of Std.VI A has won the 1st place in 4x50 m Freestyle Relay,4x50 m Medley Relay, 2nd place in 100m Freestyle, 3rd in 50m Butterfly Stroke, and 3rd in 50m Freestyle.

In the inter-school sports and games competitions conducted by the CBSE, Delhi (SZ), Abhishek Sanjay won the 3rd position in under 12 age group in the 100 mtrs (F$) swimming competitions.

Abhishek Sanjay of VI A won the 1st place in the 50 mtrs Freestyle, 1st place in 25 mtrs butterfly and 2nd place in 100 mtrs in Group III boys and Vishnu Mohan of VII A won the 2nd place in the 50 mtrs backstroke in Category III boys in the Aquatic Meet Conducted by the Indian Public School.

Taekwondo

Til Mathew of VI D won a gold medal in under 35 weight category in the XIthErnakulam District Sub-Junior and Cadet Taekwondo Championship held on 3 rd May 2015 in Kolenchery. He has also won a bronze medal in U-35 in the 17th Kerala State Sub Junior Cadet Taekwondo Championship 2015.

Fencing

In the 6th Kerala State Mini Fencing Championship held at Central Stadium, Ryan Roi of III B and Sreesankar of III B [Epee Team] have won silver, Pranav Raj Sunil of VI C won Individual Gold, Gayathry of VA won Individual Silver, and Pranav Raj Sunil [VI C], Alen Joy [IV D], Madhav [III B],Gayathry [V A] of Sabre Team has won Gold.

Pranav Raj Sunil has won the 1st place in the Boys Sabre and Individual event and 3rd place in the Sabre and Team Fencing in the 6th Mini National Fencing Championship held at Nashik by the Fencing Association of India.

Karate

HiroshTolly won the 2nd place in the colour belt KU 005 category, CyrraTolly won the first place in the colour belt Pool A - K A 008 category and won the Gold medal. Cyrra also won the 3rd place in the colour belt Pool A – Team Katta category. Pranav Raj Sunil won the first place in colour belt in Pool E – KA 007 category and also the 1st place in the KU – 007 category to win the Gold Medal. He also won the 2nd place in the colour belt Team Katta category in the competitions conducted by the KKA’s Ernakulam District Karate Dojo Association.

Rezone Raju of stdII has secured the second place in Kubodo competition under boys category in All Kerala Inter School Karate Championship Bhavan’s Newsprint Cup conducted by Bhavans Newsprint Vidyalaya ,Velloor.

In the All Kerala Inter School Karate Championship Bhavan’s Newsprint Cup, conducted by Bhavan’s Newsprint Vidyalaya Bharat Krishnan of stdVIII won the 3rd place in Kubodo in A1B Boys Category, Dias Antony of std.VI won the 1st place in Kubodo –Junior Category and 2nd in Kata in A2B Category , Pranav Raj Sunil of std VI won the 1st place in Kata in A2B Category and 3rd in Kubodo in Junior Category.

Chess

In the Inter School Chess Tournament conducted by Sacred Heart CMI Public School Thevara, Tanya Sunish won the 2nd place, Sidharth S.R. won the 3rd place, Soubhagya won the 4th place and Vijai Menon won the 7th place. They received Individual Prizes , cash award and trophies.

Cricket

Our School Cricket team won the championship in Swantons Cup All Kerala Inter School Cricket Tournament 1999 – 2000.

Twice our school won the first Runner up in the Refineries Cup Inter School Cricket tournament organized by KRS, Ambalamugal.

Athletics

Abhishek Sanjay won the 1st place in Shot Put for under-12 (boys) in the Ernakulam District Mini Athletics Meet-2015.

Our School team participated and won many prizes in the 33rd Dr K M Munshi Memorial Athletic Meet at Maharaja Synthetic Track. We shared the Senior Girls Group Championship Trophy with Vidyodaya School, Thevakkal. Gayathri Sivakumar of Class IXD made us all proud by winning Gold medals in High Jump - Senior Girls with the new meet record of 1.61 metres and in Long Jump - Senior Girls with the new meet record of 4.64 metres. She also won Gold Medals in High Jump in the CBSE National Meet held at Raipur and in the National Junior Meet held at Ranchi, Jharkand.

Football

Our Junior Football team (under 14 boys) won the first place in Second All Kerala CBSE Inter School Football Tournament Hagia Sophia Soccer Cub 2015-16. Aditya Ajit of Std.IX and John Lean of Std.VIII got the top scorer position and cash award of Rs.1500. Our school got the cash award of Rs.10000 for winning the tournament.

Judo

Our Judo team participated in the CBSE South Zone Judo Championship Karim Nagar AP and Master Chithresh Kumar P won the First Place.

Archery

Our school Archery Girls Team secured the overall championship in the Ernakulam District Mini Games.Archery Team secured the First Runner Up position in the Kerala State Mini Games Archery competition and overall championship in the Ernakulam District Archery Championship.

Wrestling

Our school wrestling Girls Team secured overall championshipin in the Ernakulam District Mini Games.

Roller Skating

Master Dharmik Jain secured First Place in the Kerala State Roller skating Championship held at Kannur in 400 m. and 3000 m Road Race. He has been selected to the Kerala State Roller Skating Team.
