National Cadet corps. NCC is a motivation for he youth to Join Defence Courses. It helps the cadets to develop many moral values such as courage, discipline. self confidence, smartness and most of all patriotism. It creates a sense of duty towards the nation among the citizens. NCC is a stepping stone for those who wish to serve the country All the camps and activities undertaken by the cadets in NCC influences them to be a good citizen.

NCC motto : The motto of NCC is "Unity & Discipline- which was adopted on 23rd December 1957. In living upto its motto, the NCC strives to be and is one of the greatest cohesive forces of the nation, bringing together the youth hailing from different parts of the country and moulding them into united, secular & disciplined citizens of the nation.

In connection with 'International Yoga Day', 19 cadets participated in the 1 day mini camp at Ernakulam on 21st June 2015 and they became a part of LIMCA Book of World Records.

In connection with NCC Day, all the NCC Cadets visited an Oldage Home, at Thevara. They interacted with the inmates. They spent the day serving fruits, playing minor games and presenting programmes for the inmates.

This year Lakshmi Priya and Vishnu Maya were selected for the RDC selection camp. 11 cadets attended Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) Tanya Sunish was selected as the Best Cadet of the camp.

This year we successfully completed 40 parades and 11 cadets attempt the certificate exam on 6th Feb:-.z.ary 2016. 17 cadets are eligible for weightage certificate.
